The Blue Dove and the Pomegranate Tree — A 6-Minute 3D Animated Short

The Blue Dove and the Pomegranate Tree is a six-minute 3D animated short film I created independently as my thesis project at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York.
Blending poetic realism with symbolic storytelling, the film explores a child’s journey into the inner world of their mother. I was responsible for the entire production pipeline, including character and environment modeling, FX simulation, storyboarding, and editing.
The animation was primarily created in Maya, with additional tools such as ZBrush, Houdini, Premiere, and Photoshop.
