Water Screen Projection Animation – Sheshan Shimao Hotel

This project showcases an immersive water screen animation I co-produced for the Sheshan Shimao Intercontinental Hotel (also known as the quarry hotel) in Shanghai.

The animation was designed to be projected directly onto a large-scale water curtain, combining 3D and 2D elements to create a visually poetic and atmospheric experience.

My responsibilities included:

2D animation design and execution

3D character and environment modeling

Scene layout and motion rhythm design

Animation timing tailored for curved, non-linear projection surfaces

This project allowed me to blend narrative and spatial choreography, adapting traditional animation to a site-specific, large-format display.
