Independent Animated Short – egg&west

This is an independently produced animated short film that I completed as a personal artistic project. The film blends symbolic imagery with emotional narrative, exploring inner transformation, memory, and the quiet tension between freedom and restraint.

The story unfolds in a surreal visual world, using dreamlike settings, minimal dialogue, and poetic pacing to create a meditative experience. It reflects my ongoing interest in animation as a medium for introspection and lyrical storytelling.

I was fully responsible for the entire production, including:

Story and screenplay

Visual development and direction

Character and environment design

Animation and compositing

Sound editing and final cut

Tools used include Maya, ZBrush, Houdini, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop.
