EcoPet i

EcoPet is a smart composting system designed to make urban food waste management more intuitive and engaging. The product combines a compact compost bin, a virtual pet, and a mobile app to transform composting into an interactive and rewarding experience for city dwellers.

The project was developed through user-centered design research, including extensive field studies, stakeholder interviews, card sorting, and prototype testing. The goal was to address the main barriers to urban composting — limited space, lack of motivation, and low engagement — by introducing gamification and emotional connection into sustainable behavior design
